All coaches and volunteers who want to participate on the players’ side of the field during games must meet 3 requirements to receive a coaching credential, which is required for all games:
- Coaches need to register with IMLAX as a coach
- Have a USA Lacrosse Bronze certification
- Signed Code of Conduct
- ALL Youth coaches are required to submit and pass a background check through Spectrum Security Group
Why be a coach?
If you believe in the power of athletics to change the course of a young person’s life, you have the right mindset to be a coach!
We are always looking for new coaches and you don’t have to be an all-star lacrosse player to coach. You need to be great with kids and have a desire to learn the game. If you are interested in coaching please contact the appropriate coach coordinator listed below.
Coaching is not a job, it’s a calling! Click HERE to read a great article from the website “Changing the Game Project”.
